Biography
Under the Turbine label, Lisa Drader-Murphy designs and produces seasonal collections of ready-to-
wear, handbags, and jewellery that are of the moment yet enduring and classic in quality and expression
of timeless design. Many of the pieces are made using high-end never-before-used vintage fabrics
dating back to mid-century adding elements of nostalgia and enhancing differentiation, adding an eco-
conscious undercurrent to exceptional design. Turbine has received international coverage including
Entertainment Tonight, BFM, NRJ France, Flare, ELLE, CTV, CBC, LIFE, CNN, Canadian Learning Television,
Global TV, and The New York Times. Among her many celebrity clients are Jennifer Love Hewitt, Missi
Pyle, and Keshia Chante. Lisa strives to give back through her charitable organization, The Turbine Fund,
who's mandate is to "empower women through education, support, & example".
